POOL & POOL TERRACE:
The social centrepiece of Sanjana, without doubt, is the 20m x 6.5m salt-water tilled swimming pool with fabulous rice-field and mountain views. There is a sun shelf within the pool itself with steps leading to the swimming area of the pool which has a depth to 2.2m and was completed 2019. There is a light river/waterfall coming from the pool pump-room which is tucked away within the verdant landscaping. The ground floor of the main building is partially open onto the swimming pool terrace.

Location and nearby

LOCATION:
The property is situated in Doi Saket district on the edge of the village of Mae Pong and just north of Chiang Mai city centre. There are a few shops in the village in addition to a daily market and a larger weekly market at the temple. There are also several other markets on various days within a few minutes drive. Doi Saket is a small town adjacent to the N118 which goes north to Chiang Rai. This unhurried little town offers various shops including several smaller supermarkets, banks, post office and a hospital.

Mae Pong is a very peaceful rural farming community which offers a very laid back lifestyle yet it also allows you easy access to Chiang Mai and the International Airport. There is a small international expat community spread throughout the district.
